Ryan McDaniel The mix on this album is incredible. For tech death, there's a depth of sound here that feels like a gravitational well leading straight down to the furnaces of hell. The heaviness in the drums is really what ties it all together for me. What I would do to hear more from Abhorrent is beyond disgusting. Favorite track: Ifrit.

hazeezah Absolute masterpiece! Perfectly balanced and beautifully brutal. Lyle Cooper at his peak and the whole band never let up on this one. A must fucking have album!

This defines all of my favorite aspects of dm. Truly a culmination of mastered mayhem 9.8/10. Favorite track: Eternal Recurrence.

about

Abhorrent's wealth of riff-variations and athletic rhythmic assault surge constantly forwards, as brief glimpses into parallel dimensions that pass by with a deathlike unstoppable certainty. Abhorrent is like the amoral and violent force of nature, realizing itself through pure will and power both in spite of death and echoing it vitriolically all the way to its end.
